Our Pre-Schools offer Early Education and Child Care for children from 2 – 5. We believe that a high quality Early Years experience will help children to develop the skills and attitudes needed to become lifelong learners and to be prepared for their next steps into their Reception class. We hope that all children who are eligible for government funding will make the most of the offer and attend regularly, 5 sessions per week. We acknowledge that families require flexible childcare alongside their child’s entitlement so with that in mind our Pre-Schools offer a range of flexible options to suit your needs. Provision is available from 7:30am to 6:00pm for 51 weeks of the year (excluding bank holidays/inset days). Speak to your Pre-School manager about your requirements.
The government offers a range of financial support to help with childcare costs for parents such as the tax-free childcare scheme and various free childcare schemes for three and four year olds and disadvantaged two year olds.

Childcare funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds
Universal 15 hour funding can be obtained through Pre-School for 3 and 4 year olds from the first full term (and subsequent terms) after your child’s 3rd birthday, and for eligible 2 year olds.
We also offer Extended hours up to a further 15 hours of funded entitlement where possible for children whose parents meet the required criteria.
Please note that children born in April are not eligible for funding until the following September because the official cut-off date is 31st March.
We accept any childcare voucher scheme and are able to offer advice and help to organise these, if required.
